The Hellenic Medical Society is pleased to offer £250 to support medical students and trainees for electives abroad. A sub-committee of the HMS executive council will award the travel grant. There is no designated submission form required but applications must be no longer than 1000 words and should ideally include the proposal of a small research project to be conducted at the time of the elective attachment.

Please send also your Curriculum Vitae together with confirmation of the attachment to Mr Nicholas Fassiadis by the end of June of each year (e-mail: nfassiadis@doctors.org.uk).

The successful candidates are expected to present their experience +/- results of the research project at the annual Papanikolaou - Malpighi Research Meeting.

Regrettably the HMS is not able to provide funds for any other causes.
