6th Summer School in Medical & Biosciences Research & Management 14 – 22 May 2017 – Neo Itilo-Mani, Laconia & Athens, Greece
The International Summer School in Medical & Biosciences Research & Management organized by the World Hellenic Biomedical Association will take place on 14-22 May 2017 in Greece. This is an educational course on Biomedical Science and Research Management for undergraduate, graduate students, as well as post-doctoral researchers and clinical trainees.

The judicial authorities of the island of Kos have endorsed the recently founded European Society for the History of Oncology (ESHO). The next scientific meeting of the Society is likely to take place in October/November 2016.
Award of the unsung Hero of the NHS
The Greek and English Medical Community in UK are delighted that Prof Peter Giannoudis has been recently awarded by the NHS in Leeds the special Award of the unsung Hero of the NHS nominated by the public not only for his for his pioneering work in orthopaedics at Leeds Trauma Centre but also for the development of the Day One Trauma Charity which is the first charity of its kind in the country. Prof Giannoudis gave a lecture at the Hellenic Centre on the 18 November 2016.
